Mohammad Reza Mortazavi (*1979, Isfahan, Iran) is considered by many as the world’s best Daf and Tombak player. He has played around the world in venues such as the World Music Festival in Shanghai, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Philharmonie Köln, Philharmonie Berlin. He has released eight albums, presenting his music both solo and in international projects with other musicians as well as producers, theaters and dancers.

モハマド・レザ・モルタザヴィ（1979年、イスファハーン・イラン）は世界屈指のダフ及びトンバックの演奏者として知られ、ワールドミュージックフェスティバル（上海）、ルクセンブルクフィルハーモニー、ケルンフィルハーモニー、ベルリンフィルハーモニー等の大舞台での公演を成功させている。近年は彼が演奏する打楽器自体が本来持つ’踊る’目的に着目し、野外フェス、クラブイベントでのライブ演奏を行い究極のダンスミュージックとして広まりつつある。これまでに8枚のアルバムをリリースし、国際的に活躍しているミュージシャン・プロデューサーとの共演、舞台芸術での演奏を行っている。
