epoch-II
Personal interpretation of epoch moments of this time and space. The work metaphors the phenomena of micro and macro physics, resulting a 3D ‘negative’ of star-cluster-like aesthetics. The charcoal ink is trapped inside epoxy resin to create a frozen moment of floating carbons in a abstract form. Carbon is one of the most basic substance to construct matter in the universe. Along with the concept, the work explores the contemporary approach toward the traditional calligraphy, by adding the depth into the dimension.
