Apeiron is a video artwork to re-examine the order emerging from the chaos. The images have been based on Analog-T.V. noise, optimized using Neural Network style transfer. The artist seeks the perceptions inside the random electric frequency, between the human cognition, and A.I vision.

The title reflects the a 6th-century BC pre-Socratic Greek philosopher Anaximander’s cosmological theory, understood as primordial world as a state of primal chaos . The images takes place as artist’s interpretation toward these creation stories, visually understanding the philosophical concept as a self knowledge.

The Analog T.V. White Noise signal (between 5MHz to 7Mhz) has been chosen as a metaphor toward the ancient cosmology. Along with the metaphor, Analog T.V noise is known to contain the signals from the early stage of the universe known as; Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). The work extends the imaginations into multilateral narrative through philosophical metaphor and scientific evidence.

In order to enhance the pulse, analog synthesizer soundscape has been attributed toward the scenes, syncing the rhythm between optical and auditory senses. The work investigates the glimpse of a moment where the cognition takes place between the nature and artificial, to observe the indefinite harmony inside the genesis and the decay.
