ACCI BABA (born.1977) is a Japanese visual artist. Baba’s current practice focuses toward finding a new interpretation toward the universal being. His works explores the collisions emerging from space/time, shape/pattern, myths/philosophy, generating conceptual approaches into an appropriate media form. The works are executed in a combination of an actual installation and a film artwork, composing a dialog beyond the language barriers for our critical understanding. The visual message unveils a point-of-view that people has never seen before, and presents an image that people don’t know how to react to, but make them think.

Through his career Baba’s visual artworks have been recognized internationally in the field of Contemporary Arts, Media Arts and Films. His works have been officially selected over 10 countries worldwide, including L.A Film Festival (2004) Japan Media Arts Festival (2010), Ars Electronica Animation Festival (2015), and European Media Art Festival (2017). Baba has steadily been expanding his overseas activities currently living and working in Berlin, Germany.

Rather than involving myself into the old-big-system, I feel there is more hope toward the grassroots way of creation. Therefore I have set up a crowdfunding page to fulfill a portion of the production costs. I appreciate for your support.
